The Panamax M8-HT-PRO Power Line Conditioner and Surge Protector eliminates common symptoms of contaminated power (including loss of detail, pops, hisses, hums and visual artifacts), and allows your A/V equipment to perform up to its full capability. Patent-pending AVM circuitry continuously monitors the incoming line voltage and disconnects your equipment in the event of an over-voltage or under-voltage (brownout). Power is automatically reconnected when voltage returns to a safe level, eliminating service calls or system downtime. The M8-HT-PRO is designed to provide noise isolation between the two isolated outlet banks, so that any noise created by an A/V component in one bank cannot contaminate the power to the equipment that is plugged into the other outlet bank.

Be careful if you have a Direct TV DVR receiver and plug your wall telephone wire into this unit and then run the out line to your receiver. This surge protector and line conditioner is welcome product and works great. It is possible that you will experience a loss of phone reception.
Check the Panamax website for which internet dealers are "authorized" so that they will honor the $5 million warranty for equipment that is connected to this thing. Great product and comes with cables included. From what I understand, Panamax will honor the warranty on the actual surge protector, but may not honor the warranty for what's connected to it unless you buy through the right dealer.I wish the outlets were spaced a bit more for some of my large adapters, but I still get almost everything on there anyways.
